The Carrus Institute is an research and conference facility
developed by the Center for Discovery. Its goals is to exchange information,
resources, and technology dedicated to the improvement of environments
for individuals with significant and multiple disabilities. Its mission
is to share the discoveries and innovations of this remarkable institution
with the rest of the nation and the world. It will host the families of
its residents as well as invited guests from around the world.
The Carrus Institute is located in a hill overlooking the entire campus.
It includes a library and research center, conference and catering facilities,
a wellness and yoga component, as well as paths, gardens and livestock
paddocks.
