OREGON COLLEGE OF ORIENTAL MEDICINE PORTLAND. OR Oregon College of Oriental Medicine is a nonprofit educational institution dedicated to advancing health care and the art of healing. It is the first college in the nation to graduate doctors of acupuncture and Oriental medicine. The college was recently rated the #1 acupuncture school in the country by tcmstudent.com. The college currently has 241 students enrolled in the master’s program and 25 students in the doctoral program. In addition, the college's outpatient clinic provides more than 27,000 patient visits annually through its on-campus Acupuncture & Herbal Clinic and eight external clinics and community health internship sites. Our input included extensive consultations on the design and construction of OCOM's new 40,000 sq. ft. facility in the Old Chinatown neighborhood of central Portland. This includes a review of architectural plans, interior design, materials specification, rituals and blessings.
