WATERSIDE SCHOOL Stamford, CT Design: Education Lab The Waterside School is a co-educational K-5 independent school whose mission is to provide underserved children with opportunities for educational and personal excellence and to prepare them for positions of leadership and responsibility. Members of Waterside's classes have earned admission and scholarships to the area's finest independent schools – Brunswick School, Convent of the Sacred Heart, Easton Country Day School, Greenwich Country Day School, Rye Country Day School, St. Luke's School and many others. Our contribution included consultation services during the design process as well as energetic interventions to prepare the land for a new school campus. Located in reclaimed brown fields, this site is part of the Stamford waterfront redevelopment program. |
