Rancho La Puerta is one of the oldest and most revered spa's in the country.
Founded by Edmond and Deborah Szekely in 1940, the Ranch, as it is fondly
called by all its guests, has pioneered almost all the trends that have
made American spas known around the world. The Ranch has, in fact, spawned
an entire industry, and has been awarded top national honors by every
president since Ronald Reagan.
Located in the slopes of Mt. Cuchumaa, one of the most sacred mountains
of the entire western coast of the USA and Mexico, this spa has been renowned
for the quality of its water, air, and vegetation. This has allowed it
to pioneer fitness and nutritional approaches that are today ubiquitous:
fasting, juicing, herbal wraps, Hatha Yoga, cross-training, sun healing,
hot stone massage, and many others. Endowed with extensive trails into
multiple canyons and valleys, the Ranch has also pioneered walking as
a form of therapy.
Our analysis focused on Master Planning and energy assessments of the
entire 3.000-acre campus, as well as energy activations and earth healing
for key components of the site.
