OM SHANTI ASHRAM Morelos, Mexico Developer: Om Shanti Congregation This spiritual community is part of an international spiritual association that operates ashrams in Europe, Asia, Australia, and Latin America. This project covers over 500 acres of forest and agricultural land and will include meeting halls, residential compounds, a school, retreat dormitories, and support facilities, all of which are dedicated to spiritual practices and spiritual education. There is also a commercial component that will include retirement villas, fractional rental apartments and restaurant facilities that will cater to workshop and visiting participants. The feng shui input included a complete assessment of the site, its relationship to the surrounding landscape, and a full analysis of transportation, supply systems, gardens, water management, and land protection. Additional consultations focused on land purchases that would allow more coherent land energy patterns and viewsheds. Earth Healing rituals were also made to promote the healing power of the site.
