ASPEN REGIONAL TOPOGRAPHICAL STUDY

This study of the Aspen region in Colorado was commissioned in part by the Aspen Institute and by Aspen Magazine. The study was part of an evaluation of the site for the Doerr-Hosier Conference Center at the Aspen Institute, a prestigious think tank which attracts heads of state, researchers, and scholars from around the world.

The analysis focused on the importance of the region as a center for political and intellectual activity. My findings included a description of the land forms and water patterns of the region which are superbly well suited for a center of international influence.
