Lyford Urban Village is a proposed community development project in Rockford, IL. This development has been conceived as an example of New Urbanism that will cater to the residential, commercial, civic, and spiritual needs of this suburban community near Chicago.

Our contributions have included full assessments of land and water patterns, guidelines and criteria for town planning based on feng shui and vastu principles, as well as interaction and feedback with the planning team and urbanism consultants. Still at an early stage of development, this project promises to be a landmark in the evolving field of conscious and sustainable urban planning.
