A Perryville Place is a mixed-use development project tin the community
of Rockford, IL that will include higher-end restaurants, retail and office
space on a 5 acre development site. Conceived as a more contemporary alternative
to the standard strip development pattern found in this suburban Chicago
community, A Perryville Place tries to incorporate open pedestrian areas,
links to a bicycle path, and landscaped restaurant areas into a commercial
zone that is lacking in these amenities.
Our contributions included assessments of the land and traffic patterns,
recommendations for location of program components within the development
site, as well as landscaping, materials selection, and color schemes.
