| PULLMAN WINE & TAPAS BAR
Parc and Sherbrooke, Montreal
Design: Bruno Braen
Named after the father of the luxury train car, and built in what was
formerly a carpet store, Pullman uses an interpretation of industrial
and railroad arts - a gigantic chandelier, stone walls, train inspired
tables and chairs - to decorate a luxuriant cocktail lounge. The space
takes its inspiration from the opulent sleeper cars that were produced
by George Pullman in the mid-1800s: his portrait adorns one wall. A hipster-aristocratic
dining room indulges the visitor with Limoges china, warm hand towels,
and more than 120 varietals by the glass.
Our input focused on optimizing potential for success and recognition,
with special emphasis on the quality of the menu and the extensive wine
collection, deservedly one of the best in Montreal.
