SIKKEMA JENKINS GALLERY Chelsea , New York City Sikkema Jenkins & Co. is a contemporary art gallery located in the Chelsea district of New York City. The gallery, founded in 1991 by Brent Sikkema as Wooster Gardens, exhibits work in a variety of media including painting, drawing, installation, photography, sculpture, and video. The gallery's artists have national and international careers and regularly participate in museum and international exhibitions. The gallery also publishes books, prints, and editions. Its roster of artists includes Mitch Epstein, Nikki S. Lee, Marc Handelman, Burt Barr, Rachel Berwick, Jef Gauntt, Wangechi Mutu and others. Our input focused on an analysis of environmental energy, lighting, and illumination with special emphasis toward expansion of the galleries into a larger space.
